If you have recently lost their jobs or are self employed or work as a freelancer, you may not have health insurance. You're not alone. Hundreds of thousands go uninsured financial reasons.
Others may be stay in jobs they hate "Because you need health benefits" and they worry about what to do if you make the transition. You're not alone either. Good health is a huge priority. Without everything else they belong can be from each other.
I am a strong advocate of taking preventive measures. But part of preventive measures is making sure to see your doctor for annual general checkups with followups and seeing the doctor, when you know something is wrong.

The following information details of health insurance and programs to help the uninsured in New York City.
If you currently have health insurance or have lost health insurance coverage within the last 60 days, please visit the health insurance section of the website of the American Diabetes Association for options available for the user.
New York Insurance Department-(800) 342-3736
Residents of New York rejected from purchasing policies of individual health insurance, regardless of any health conditions you may have. This is called guaranteed issue. In addition, residents will not charge higher rates for their policies because of their health status. This is known as classification societies. New York Insurance Department may be able to locate the names and phone numbers available to insurers who will sell this type of policy. Contact them for more information.
If you have a problem with a non-regulated health plan Member and cannot resolve it directly with the plan, make a complaint to the Department of insurance. They may not be able to provide assistance in drawing up the proposals.
New York health insurers Guide available

The purpose of the programme of healthy NY is to provide health insurance coverage of eligible uninsured working individuals and self-employed. This program is also available for small businesses, which do not offer health insurance coverage now to their employees. Must meet certain income eligibility criteria to qualify. Child health Plus (CHPlus)-State health insurance program for children-

Child health Plus is a health insurance program to provide health insurance to children and youth in the age of 19 in whose families may have too high an income to qualify for Medicaid but who cannot afford health insurance. To learn if you or your child meets the guidelines of income on the Web site.
New York family health Plus-1-877-382-7587
Family health Plus is a program of health care for uninsured adults age 19 to 64 who have income too high to qualify for the New York Medicaid program. Family health Plus is available to single adults, couples without children and parents with limited income. Individuals must meet certain qualifications, residence and immigration to qualify.
If you or Your to not be able to see the doctor because of costs of care, in the area, there may be a local community health clinic. These clinics are generally free or require a very small fee for patients to receive care. Find a clinic in your area.
